Sales of 2-wheelers increased significantly in June 2022, with numerous models posting strong results. Very few businesses had negative growth this time, and the cause may largely be attributed to manufacturers’ dispatch problems.<\/p>

All two-wheeler manufacturers, with the exception of Bajaj, showed a rise in two-wheeler sales in June, with a positive YoY gain of 20.6%. Sales in the segment are led by Hero MotoCorp, with Honda coming in second, TVS coming in third, and Royal Enfield, which had the second-highest YoY growth, coming in last, after Bajaj and Suzuki.<\/p>

Top Two-wheeler brands sales report June 2022<\/strong><\/h2>

Honda<\/a> sold 3,55,560 vehicles in June 2022, up 67.3% year over year from the 2,12,453 units it sold in the same month the previous year. Compared to June 2021, Honda could sell more than 1.4 lakh additional vehicles. In June 2022, Hero MotorCorp sold 4,63,210 two-wheelers, a 5.6% increase over June 2021 sales of 4,38,514 units. In June of this year, the two-wheeler maker sold 24,696 more units than in June of the previous year.<\/p>

With 1,93,090 total sales, TVS comes in third. The two-wheeler firm, situated in Hosur, reported an increase in sales of 32.7% over 2021, selling 47,677 more units in June this year than in June the previous year.<\/p>

Bajaj<\/a> is the only two-wheeler OEM to have reported negative year-over-year growth in June 2022, as was already revealed. Bajaj sold 1,25,083 units last month, which is 30,557 units fewer than the OEM, which sold 1,55,640 units in June 2021.<\/p>

Suzuki<\/a> follows, selling 52,929 units in June 2022, and is followed by Royal Enfield, selling 50,265 units. Compared to June 2021, both OEMs reported an increase of 30.7% and 40.3%, respectively.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Hero Splendor topped the lists once more, and this time by a wide margin. The only motorbike on this list to have sales of over 2 lakh units was this one. With a share of 27.92% in the top 10, sales in June 2022 were 2,70,923 units, an increase of 2.62 percent over the 2,64,009 units sold in June 2021. It also increased MoM over the 2,62,249 combined sales in May 2022. As usual, the Hero Splendor and Honda Activa series took the top two spots. Honda Shine and SP125, however, unexpectedly surpassed the Hero HF series by a significant 12000 units, which is a significant development for Honda.<\/p>

TVS Jupiter maintained its sales pace at number 5, selling more than 62000 units. The performance of the TVS scooter virtually doubled from the previous year. Bajaj Pulsar 125 series came in sixth, following Jupiter.<\/p>

The next three models, the TVS XL 100, Suzuki Access 125, and Hero Glamour sold more than 30000 units each. Hero Super Splendor, which sold more than 28000 units, was ranked tenth. The introduction of the new Black color shade is what’s causing the low sales.<\/p>

The following three models were the Bajaj Platina series, Honda Dio, and Royal Enfield Classic 350, each of which sold over 25k units. The Classic, the only motorcycle in this area from the 300+ cc class, performs admirably in terms of sales each month. However, it used to sell about 60000\u00a0units a month on its own many years ago.<\/p>

Selling more than 22,000 units, TVS Ntorq ranked 14th. Following the Ntorq, the Yamaha FZ series sold 19,305 units, an increase of 74%.<\/p>

The 16th and 17th places were taken by the Hero Passion and Bajaj Pulsar 150, respectively. These bikes, which are among the oldest ones in the ranking, used to sell a lot. The TVS Apache series, which occupied the 18th slot, experienced the greatest de-growth in this table.<\/p>

The following two positions were held by the TVS Raider 125 and Honda Dream Deluxe CD110. The Dream has had a breakthrough increase of 255 percent, selling over four times as much as it was able to do the previous year.<\/p>

The final four positions were filled by Hero Pleasure+ XTEC, TVS Radeon, Suzuki Avenis, and TVS Sport. Sports and recreation have experienced a decline.<\/p>
